I'm spending this Memorial Day weekend 200+ miles away from D.C. but it may as well be light years. Beautiful southern Virginia - northern NC area. Racing. Friends and family. World class track and facilities. Racing. Booze. Springtime. Racing.

Virginia International Raceway!!!

This is the only track I know of that has free wireless. God Bless the Old Dominion! I'll be reporting a little of what's happening for anyone interested and I'll be remembering all weekend just who it is that makes it possible for me to enjoy this wonderful activity in freedom and safety.
